These one-hour workshops are intended for physicians, advance practice nurses and physician assistants. It is recommended that you attend one workshop. Topics covered include:
- Outlining disease definitions and how their reporting affects physician profiling and participation in Affordable Care Act, with an emphasis on Bundled Payments, ICD-10, and Value Based Purchasing
- Exploring ICD-9 and ICD-10’s role in severity and risk adjustment
- Reviewing applications of provider definitions and documentation in quality measurement and cost efficiency profile reporting
